Undergrad opportunity: Video scoring

We are recruiting student volunteers or work/study students to help with data collection in the lab.

Work with PhD student Sanjay Prasher to assist in his research on bobwhite quail sociality. Sanjay recorded hours of video of quail moving around and interacting with each other in a flight pen. We’re looking for students to watch and score videos of “the bobs”.

  • Students will observe and record all social interactions.
  • Must be willing to commit to 5 hours per week minimum in the lab on computers.
  • Students will be volunteers initially and may be moved to paid work, especially if they qualify for work/study.
  • Training and support will be provided!
