Congratulations to Hobson Lab undergraduate student Shruti Parashar!
Shruti did a great job summarizing several analyses of Little Blue Penguin social behavior during her very first scientific presentation, called “Analyzing social relationships of Little Blue Penguins”.
Shruti has been a member of the Hobson Lab Penguin Data Club since Fall 2019 (our very first semester!). Shruti finished her capstone research project in the lab this year, combining data analysis of the Cincinnati Zoo’s Little Blue Penguin population and behavioral observations of the zoo’s African Penguins. Thanks to Katie Kalafut for access to the Little Blue data and to Hannah Griebling for mentorship and training that allowed Shruti to collect observations at the zoo.
It’s been a pleasure having Shruti in the lab and we all wish her congratulations for finishing her undergrad and successfully graduating during a global pandemic. Great job Shruti!!
